United Free Church (1853)

Transformed from riverside steam-powered flour mill to ‘People’s Hall’ in 1867, this ornate brick building makes for an unusual place of worship – with a hall at ground level, the church is upstairs! It changed from a Methodist Church to United Free Church in 1988.
