WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!
Catch up on the new bins about to be rolled out to every household in Fram. Our special Waste Recycling event coincides with The Big Plastic Count week.
Drop-in event on Saturday 14th March: 2pm – 4pm at the Unitarian Meeting House, Framlingham
Having guilty thoughts about throwing away so much plastic?
Lets stop “wish-cycling” and brush up on our “3Rs”: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
The Drop-In event will include:
- East Suffolk Council – new recycling bins Q & A
- Displays of biodegradable products and sustainable solutions which are better for the planet
- Activities: “is this recyclable?” “10 things to make using plastic milk bottles” and recycled natural wool crafts
- Offers: “No Planet B” decorations to the first 10 visitors
- Greener Fram Larder – handing out food “too good to waste”
It’s also time to take part in the national “Big Plastic Count”
This survey provides up-to-date evidence for government policy change – aiming for a fairer future that’s free from the impacts of the plastics crisis.
The event is free, with a small donation for refreshments. All Welcome!
