Richard Collins Charitable Ride (RCCR) charity motorcycle ride
This charity motorcycle race is taking place on Sunday 16th August 2026.
The Richard Collins Charitable Ride was originally created in Suffolk to support our friend Richard Collins, who for many years organised many of the rides himself with only a small team of helpers behind him.
As the event continued to grow in popularity and momentum year after year, it was felt the best way forward was to establish a dedicated committee to help organise, develop and expand the ride into the large community event it is becoming today.
As in previous years, the ride proudly raises money for the Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity, Woolverstone Macmillan Centre, supporting patients and families affected by cancer across our local community.
We are writing as a courtesy to advise that the ride will be passing through your town or village during the course of the event and to ensure local councils are aware of the planned activity.
Last year’s event attracted 287 motorcycles and trikes and raised over £4,390 for the Woolverstone Macmillan Centre. This year we are hoping to build upon that success while continuing to promote safe, responsible, and community-minded motorcycling.
The ride is being coordinated by a volunteer committee and supported by experienced marshals positioned throughout the route to assist with the safe management of the event.+

• Parham
• Hacheston
• Campsea Ashe
• Tunstall
Midway Stop – Bentwaters Parks
(Approximate arrival time 11:00am)
The ride will then continue through:
• Tunstall
• Snape Area
• Aldeburgh Road
• Leiston
Finish – Sizewell Sports & Social Club
King George’s Avenue
Leiston
IP16 4JX
(Approximate arrival time 13:30-14:00hrs)
Whilst exact timings may vary on the day, every effort will be made to ensure the ride passes through communities in a safe and respectful manner. Marshals will be positioned at key locations along the route to assist riders and minimise disruption where possible.
