Remembrance Sunday – Parade & Service

10.15/20am – Meet in New Road
10.30am Parade Marshall Eddie Cooper will assemble the parade.
10.40am – Parade leaves New Road and marches through the town via Bridge St., Market Hill, Church St. and into the churchyard.
10.50am – Parade assembles in the churchyard around the war memorial.
The names are read, followed by the laying of wreaths in order of protocol.
Act of Remembrance by Older/Younger person
All affirm :- We will remember them. The Last
Post is sounded
11am – 2 minutes silence. Reveille is played
All proceed into the Church for the service; Standard Bearers; Town Council; Veterans parading and youth groups to go in first.
After the service the Parade is re-assembled in the Churchyard and marches down to Market Hill. Speeches of thanks are given prior to dismissal.
