Mills Companions – Staying Connected, a guide to dementia friendly conversation
First Wednesday of each month, 5.30pm – 7pm
Join our Mills Companions monthly support group for carers supporting someone with dementia or cognitive impairment. Open to the local community, day club families and carers, the group offers a relaxed space to connect, share experiences and gain peer support, with refreshments prepared by our chef (IDDSI-appropriate options available). Carers are welcome to bring their loved ones, with activities provided. Throughout the year, informal talks and guest speakers will cover dementia awareness, advanced dementia care, and seasonal topics such as hydration and nutrition.
