Explore a Castle Like No Other
Once upon a time, perhaps as early as the 6th century, there was a castle on a Suffolk hill… But today’s curtain-walled castle with its wall-top walk and stunning panoramic views was over 800 years old before local-lad Ed Sheeran sky-rocketed it to stardom in his triple-platinum hit single!
Family-friendly Framlingham Castle and its magical Mere nature reserve are simply awesome for so many reasons – so too St Michael’s Church, Market Hill and all the heritage town too, of course!
